I was blown away at how sharp lorex cameras are. Each video it records is in real time. I place a camera on each door of my home front, side and rear doors. The 4th I have on the cars and driveway.

Read before buying, December 9, 2015

HUGE DRAWBACK: This system takes excellent photos that are clear and simple to get to on the internet. HOwever, it has low voltage cameras which must be plugged into an outlet and few people have outlets where they would place these cameras outside. My husband erroneously tried to hot wire into a light receptacle l without realizing that the camera was low voltage. WE do not know a work- around . If you place the camera inside a window , the reflection of the light blinds your vision of what is going on outside. If you place the camera near an outlet, a perpetrator can easily cut the wire or even just unplug it. For these reasons, I feel the set is nearly useless. Also, one of the cameras has intermittent performance.
We have not had time to contact Lorex to see if they have a solution.

Couldn't use it. It wasn't what I expected. It isn't really wireless as advertised!
